If you are a new patient to Newcastle Skin you can fill in and

submit our NEW PATIENT FORM before your first appointment.


 

Referral

Our doctors can see you with or without a referral. Referrals are encouraged but not a necessity.

If you have a referral - Please bring your referral to your appointment. If it is possible for you or your doctor to submit to us beforehand, this is preferable. Your referring doctor will receive correspondence regarding your appointment.

Fees

You will be advised of the approximate cost of your initial consultation either via a letter or over the phone. Any additional procedure or treatment will incur an additional cost. Please speak to our friendly staff for any further details regarding fees.

 

Bulk Billing

The doctors do not provide a bulk billing service.

 

Medicare

You will receive a rebate from Medicare for your consultation and procedures, if applicable. This can be processed at the time of payment.

Private Health Fund

Currently Private Health Funds do not cover dermatology.

 

Preparation

It is advised that you leave the area of concern clear from any makeup, moisturisers or topical treatment to allow for a thorough observation of the condition.

 

Reservations and Cancellations

When cancelling or rescheduling a regular appointment, please contact the office at least 1 business day prior to the scheduled appointment date.  When cancelling or rescheduling a surgical appointment, please contact the office at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled visit.  Failure to do so will result in a $100 cancellation fee.
